"Well yeah, I don't deny the fact I'm a monster. But I'm still better than any muggle out there." He shrugs and scratches the back of his head. "You see, mudbloods and muggles don't understand. They went out and hunted people like us because we were different. They started this because they were jealous. It's just a matter of fighting back. Why should we hide when we're far superior than them? We should reign supreme and be known to the entire world, and put muggles in their rightful place: beneath our feet." He looks directly at Sirius, a serious look in his eyes. "It's in our blood, the struggles of our ancestors. And you betray those who sacrifice so much to just survive by siding with those with dirty blood. There's always exceptions to every rule: there's wizards who are just as terrible if not worse than mudbloods and muggles. But as a general rule, we are better. We're the oppressed. We're forced into hiding to protect ourselves. It's time we fight back so we can live freely."
Hold on, Sirius agreed with him? Well, that was weird. He narrowed his eyes as if trying to gauge whether or not Sirius actually thought that or was being sarcastic. In the end, it didn't matter. "I don't really like You-Know-Who's methods, but at least he's honest about the fact he wants to use you for a certain goal. You can go ahead and be used by Dumbledore, but at least he won't ever tell you the truth and he'll keep you in the dark forever."

“I see your point Snape. But is it right to force muggleborns out? Without them we would crumble and fall. They bring new ideas to our world, that no half-blood nor pureblood would think of, because most don’t think outside of the box and are a bunch of sheep.” Sirius looked back at Snape, whom was looking at him seriously. “I think that muggleborns should be taught more about our world, so that they have an understanding, and with the hope that they will leave our history and society as it is. Or rather that they don’t try to make our world like the muggle world, which is very progressive in many aspects. And I don’t think we should rule over them. Just take a look at their history, and you will see just how many revolts and wars that they have had. They have guns, and bombs, and many other things that could tear us apart. We need to coexist in this world, but at the same time, to be separated from each other so that we are not hunted down, like they have tried many times. And if they were to attack us I say then we can go ahead and fight back. But let them start it. There are more of them than there are of us.” Sirius hoped that he made some sense with what he had said. He hadn’t thought about it too much lately and so he was a little rusty when it came to arguing these points.
“Fighting back? You want to follow a deranged mad man, whom wants you to be his servant. And from what I can tell he wants to rule the world and oppress all people, not just muggleborns, and muggles. Following someone, who wants you to serve him for his own gains is not freedom at all. Think for yourself, and take a stand, choose one side or the another, or make a third side in this whole fucked up mess we find our world in.”
Sirius rolled his eyes at what Snape said about letting Dumbledore use him. “I’ll never let him use me. There are many reasons for that. And I’m not going to follow someone blindly. If I were you Snape, I’d do my homework and find out as much as possible about the person you want to follow before you go giving your life to him.”

Severus literally laughed, wiping his face of a fake tear. "Boy, that was hilarious. We need them? I don't know if you've noticed, but the muggles are idiots. They're less advanced than us because they are far behind without magic. They've got things yes, but magic can do all that and more. I heard there's a thing called an 'airplane'. We have brooms. And we don't use all that fuel they use. I know plenty about their bloody history – and that just makes it even more reasonable. They're animals. They should be treated as such. Just like house elves or dogs." He rolls his eyes. "They might have some weapons, but we still have wands. I'm pretty sure we could easily use a protego or some other shielding charm and render all of their weapons useless. You shouldn't react to things, you should seize the day, seize the power, because they catch us off guard, and destroy us before we can react. They stab people in the back, I would not doubt they wouldn't try to kill us all without us even knowing."
"The Dark Lord is far better than the alternative. A government full of cowardly pigs who only care about themselves and their own wealth. Dumbledore, the biggest hypocrite in the world. At least the Dark Lord is honest about what he wants. And its not a war on everyone. We have werewolves on our side. We take on the people who are oppressed and give them a fighting chance. Just because there are still a lot of people on both sides who are racist, doesn't mean anything. I'm sure if you asked the people at the ministry they'd say that werewolves deserve death – or some other oppressed group. The Ministry will just stagnate. There will be absolutely nothing done unless you do it yourself."
"I've done plenty of research and found Dumbledore quite lacking. And out of the two sides, I know which one is the lesser of two evils."

Sirius rolled his eyes as Snape went on some monologue spouting the same things that he had heard before. “I’ve heard all of that before. In fact I’ve heard it more times than I care to count. So save your breath.”
“You have a point, but wizards and witches have been known to stab each other in the back as well.” He added not sure exactly where he was going with this just yet. “Let me ask you this then: Is it okay for our kind to betray one another, and not consider us traitors? But at the same time call muggles monsters because they would stab us in the back the first chance that they get?”
“Well if you want to see things that way I’m not going to question you on that but I will ask this. What if there was a third side in this?” He had asked that question to himself multiple times but he wasn’t sure how they would go about anything. Or even what their goals would be. But He’d create one that wouldn’t hold back, but at the same time not go after innocents and things like that. More of a neutral side, but not really. He wasn’t sure, but Sirius didn’t want to owe Dumbledore anything, nor would he want to serve Voldemort.

Severus rolled his eyes. Black was posing him questions he had heard plenty of times before. However, for some reason he decided to answer them instead of pushing Black off the tower. His wand was still in easy access range, so it was definitely possible.
"Of course not. That's why there's blood traitors. And the Dark Lord wants to rid the world of them too. That way only the true, honest, good wizards are considered superior. Do you think the Dark Lord wouldn't kill all those Weasleys if he had the chance?" He rolls his eyes once more, and gave Sirius a shrug. "I'd kill you if it wouldn't get me expelled from here for being a blood-traitor. Your brother is actually decent, so I won't judge him because of you. Now if a group in general, more often than not, stabs people in the back, then its better to be safe than sorry and make exceptions for the rare good people within the group."
Boy Snape, this sounds incredibly racist. Who could have taught you thi – oh wait, your father probably said those things when you were little, and you just adjusted them and fit them to fit your nasty ass father. "Probably not. There isn't an equal to the Dark Lord or Dumbledore to lead this hypothetical third group – they'd lose. It'd would be wasteful. Not only that, unlike Dumbledore's side, the Dark Lord will murder those who you love in order to make you suffer if you join his enemies. I'd rather not become an enemy of the Dark Lord. It's safer this way."

Sirius was getting tired of this tripe. He had heard it all and his patience was wearing thin. He really wanted to just blast Snape off the tower. Sirius knew these words all came from Voldemort and his ilk and wasn’t to surprised that Snape was spouting. But he thought Snape could think for himself instead of spouting that garbage. It appears he was wrong.
“I’m sure you just love spouting that pureblood agenda don’t you Snape?” Sirius asked in an unfriendly tone. “And from the sound of it you think just like Voldemort, and I’m sure you’re repeating the same things that he has said time and time again.” Sure, this talk was turning into their normal talk, insults barbs, and he just compared the sanity of Snape to that of Voldemort. Might not go over well at all, and if things went south right now, he had a feeling that either one of them or both of them would be flying off the tower in a matter of moments.
“I see, you think you are protecting those that you care about? Well I’m sure that Voldemort and his followers aside from yourself wouldn’t hesitate to curse and or kill Lily, while you watched. And my brother is an idiot for believing everything that our mother says and or thinks.” Sirius wasn’t a fool and was going to watch out for those he cared about but he really didn’t want to side with Dumbledore, and for sure he didn’t want to side with Voldemort. He knew that there were things that both sides had right, to a degree, but their ways to go about these issues was skewed.

Severus rolled his eyes. This guy would never understand. He was a blood-traitor – traitor to all wizardkind and his family. "Perhaps you should learn a thing or two about loyalty. If I'm loyal and do what the Dark Lord tells me to, he will give me favors in return – which would include sparing those I care about. Then again, you wouldn't know a thing about loyalty seeing as you betrayed your family." Ouch.
He gripped his wand tightly and started walking towards the door. "I'm done here, Black. I'm tired of listening to your petty excuses to rebel against you parents like the angsty teen you are." He went to undo the charm on the door.

Sirius let out a bark of laughter at what Snape said. He was supposedly a traitor for going against his family. “I know all about loyalty. And I’m loyal only to those that have earned my respect, and those that deserve it. And the majority of my family doesn’t.” It just so happened that the only ones that deserved it were the few who were cast out, or his granddad. “And if it is betrayal you are talking about then take a look in the mirror. You are betraying many people, even Lily in a way, by choosing to side with Voldemort and his ilk.”
“Fair enough, and it looks like you’re having some difficulty leaving. Let me help you.” Sirius said, having had enough of Snape for one night. He whipped out his wand and fired a simple spell, which may have missed Snape by mere inches, but he wasn’t aiming at him, his target was the door, at the door undoing his previous spell work on the door in question. “Just remember one thing Snape, there are those that care for you, I may not be one of them, but I’d rather not see you as a servant to anyone but yourself. Be your own person, but don’t blindly trust those that may seem like they have the right idea about things. Also take a moment sometime to think about what you’ll be giving up, in return for being a loyal servant of Voldemort.” It wasn’t an offer of anything but just some advice.
